Heartfelt Gifts

for those who grieve

Wescotchoo's

My all-time favorite comfort food is Scotcheroos!

My brother's family sent us a box after Baby Kevin died, and our entire family devoured them. There’s nothing quite like a yummy treat to lift your spirits.

The name "Wescotchoo" carries such a thoughtful message too—a perfect way to let someone know you're thinking of them during such a difficult time.

This company ships their freshly made scotcheroos all over the US, and they come packaged so cute too!

Mother of Pearl Ring

I received this ring from one of my daughters and I love the symbolism of emotional healing, comfort, and the strength that comes from deep, transformative love.

The iridescent glow of mother of pearl is often seen as a reminder of the beauty and peace that can emerge through grief, offering a sense of comfort and inner calm.

For a mother mourning her child, a mother of pearl ring symbolizes a connection to their memory, transcendent love, and protection. It represents resilience through loss, offering healing and peace while honoring the lasting bond.

Pennies from Heaven Memorial Keychain

This is one of my favorite gifts. After Baby Kevin died, our daughter's teachers gave us a penny jar with a poem about pennies and how they can be little reminders of our baby in heaven. Still, 13 years later, I think of him every time I see a penny.

My friend Angela makes these personalized keychains and will mail it to you or directly, or gift wrap and mail it to the person you'd like to give it to. She has a variety of charms to add and you can choose the year of the penny as well.

If you ask her for "Becky Beck's penny poem" she can include it with the keychain.
